Bianco Latte

There's not much Milanese about this, but I'm a sucker for colors and other foolish things, so I couldn't help but take some pictures of the pretty sights inside Bianco Latte, a pretty ordinary store in Milan.
So now that we've established that today's feature is nothing out of the ordinary, we must also all admit that the metal dude with the bike is great, right?

Pizza OK

Horrible name! Horrible! But the pizzas are delish (as they would be in Italy) and Milanese locals gather around all the tables at night to talk, get drunk, mingle and all other kinds of socialize. Also, every single pizza you have ever wanted, I'm pretty sure they have it here. For instance: I've always wanted a strawberry and blue cheese pizza. It's right here! If you just want something with a bunch of cheese on it, they make that happen, too (and make it taste good). Excellent.

Chocolat

Not the nicest staff on planet Earth, but then again, they have ginger chocolate ice cream and super cheap espressos so who in their right mind would really care?

Bonus: they also have a chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

Cavalli e Nastri

It was a Sunday that I strolled down Via Brera in Milan and came across Cavalli e Nastri, maybe the most beautiful shop in Milan. But, oh agony, it was a Sad Sunday and I couldn't enter. I couldn't touch the magnificent shoes or the breathtaking clothes. All I could possibly do was to take pictures so that one day, you will come along and realize, that somewhere in Milan this exists.

La Bottega del Gelato

Is La Bottega del Gelato the best ice cream parlor in Milan? Most likely. It’s placed on Via Pergolesi, a side street to Corso Buenos Aires, and I’m telling you it’s so good that I might have dreamt it into existence. Yes, they have avocado flavor, too, if that's something you're into. Try it. There are no chairs, but when you sit on the sidewalk and eat this enchanting piece of freshness, you might be right in heaven. I’m not kidding. Go to Milan just for this. So very, very, very worth it.

Superfly

The other day I went past Superfly, a small boutique in Milan, and instantly knew that I wanted this green dress so incredibly much. But was it open? No, not on a Sunday. But if you ever walk past it, then please, for the love of whatever you love, buy this dress! If not for yourself then for me!

L'Angelo L'Abruzzo

For some reason I never seem to score any points with the waiters at L’Angelo d’Abruzzo, but they still serve great food in northern part of Milan. However, the former is my only down point: the waiters who work there always dismiss everything I say right on point. On the other hand they seem to instantly listen to male company. Dinner requests said by ladies are not usually understood. The same requests said by men seem to be understood perfectly. I don’t get it. However, I forget all about such minor disadvantages when the food is served. Delightful – just don’t take a chance on the meat menu, but win a safe bet with the pasta.

Market by Ripa de Porta Ticcinese

I’ll admit it: I was standing right by Milanese fashion designer superstore Antonioli, but decided to take a stroll down Ripa de Porta Ticcinese instead to look at the Italian artifacts and maybe some pretty clothes or fashionable hats. The most fashionable hat I saw was on an Italian woman, but nonetheless: I saw one! Like any market no matter where on planet Earth you go, this ranges from the beautiful to the downright creepy. Kudos to old dolls! They always have the wanted unnerving effect, even beneath the sun.
