I'm afraid the image here doesn't really do Candy Shop enough justice, but then I guess I just have to write it up. From what this naive girl can tell there are sparse and few places in Dublin where you can simply read a book and get a cup of tea (not a pint, mind you), and that's why I was so relieved when I encountered this lovely place when I got out of the Dublin Writer's Museum (disappointing by the way) and just needed to relax for a while. Also, there's wifi in here so those of you who are into that kind of thing.1 N Frederick Street
