Dessertdragens Kageværksted

The woman I suspect of owning Dessertdragen is not the nicest of people, but if you can ignore her dismissal of you once the favorite customers walk in the door, you’re all set for deliciousness. Also, it’s best if you’ve made reservations for cake; otherwise she might get a little grumpy. That aside: Dessertdragen in Copenhagen’s Latin Quarter is quite great and colorful. The cakes remind me of a pleasant version of the food the lost kids had in Hook (remember?) with their playful adaptation of what cakes are supposed to look like. Dessertdragen will make you laugh and be all kinds of happy. But the most important part is yet to come: yes, these cakes taste like something out of this world. You might want to close your eyes when you take the first bite. So good.
